Image Library Rules
Scribble will keep all of your personal information in the strictest
confidence, not disclosing it to anyone except as described below. Upon
registration as a Scribble Talk member, email addresses and other personal
information are collected for the purpose of answering questions and
site administration. We will only collect this personal information if
you choose to share it with us. This information will be stored in a
database at Scribble's Image Library. Your personal information, including
email address, will not be sold to anyone.
Registration to and use of this site are free! If you agree to the terms,
please press the Agree. Note: By pressing
the button you also declare that you are over the age of 13. If you would
like to cancel the registration, click here to
return to the image library index.
- You agree, through your use of this service:

- That you will not use this site to post any material which
is:
- Knowingly false, defamatory, or inaccurate
- Abusive, vulgar, hateful, threatening, or harassing,
- Obscene, profane, or pornographic (see more below in posting
guidelines),
- Invasive of a person's privacy, or breaking any law.
That you will not post any copyrighted material unless the copyright
is owned by you.
That any copyrighted photos, art, etc, used without permission of
the original artist will be removed by the administrators/moderators.
That you have not previously had an account with Scribble/Scribble
Talk Image Library that was removed for violation of this User Agreement.
That you are not creating this account under any false pretenses.
All registrations must be approved by an administrator before they are
activated for normal use. Once the registration form is completed and reviewed,
an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to activate your
account.
Members using the Scribble!/Scribble Talk Image Library, agree to the
following terms:
- Photographers will only upload photographs that they themselves
have taken. Photographers will not upload any material that comes
from any
other source. No photos from other image libraries should be uploaded
unless you are the photographer. Photographers represent that they
have permission of the subject, as needed, to upload the photograph
to share in our library.
- The
Photographer retains the copyright to the original photograph. At no
time may anyone other than the Photographer claim the original
photograph as their own.
- The Photographer understands that by uploading a photograph to share
in the library, they are giving permission to artists of Scribble! and
ScribbleTalk! to use these photographs to create their own works of art.
The photographer understands no additional compensation for such use
will be given.
- As an Artist, you may use these photographs to create your own derivitive
work of art, without additional consent or compensation to the photographer.
It is considered appropriate to contact the Photographer after the work
has been created, to let them know what you have done with it.
- The Artist retains copyright to the derivitive work that they have
created, and may sell the artwork, make prints of the Artwork or may
do what they want with it from that point forward.
Scribble/Scribble Talk Image Library moderators will review all
images posted, however Scribble/Scribble Talk is not responsible for the
content of any
of these
images.
Scribble/Scribble Talk reserves the right to delete any images for any
reason and without notification. You, the member, remain solely responsible
for
the
content of your images, and you agree to indemnify and hold
harmless Scribble/Scribble Talk, its moderators and administrators with
respect
to any claims, damages, losses, costs and liabilities (including reasonable
attorneys’ fees)
based upon transmission of your messages or your content, or that of anyone
acting with your permission or with your password. Scribble/Scribble
Talk reserves the right to reveal your identity, and any known information,
in the event of a complaint or legal action resulting from any message
posted by you.
Images posted express the views of the Photographer of the image, not
necessarily of this site, its moderators, administrators or any entity
associated with
this site.
With regard to the posting of nude or erotic images on this site:
- Images depicting the nude human form are not permitted in this
Image Library.
Three-Strike Policy
Unfortunately, there may occasionally be the need for the site administrators
to take action against a member for continued non-compliance with the rules
and guidelines of this site.
- The first two warnings will come from site moderators, and will state
the offense and ask politely that you adhere to site guidelines.
- The third offense note will result in permanent suspension.
Site Anti-Solicitation/Spam Policy
- This is an important section! If you are a representative of a
vendor/retailer, product manufacturer, service provider, or charitable
organization (hereafter
collectively referred to simply as "vendors"), and you
wish to participate in our community, we urge to carefully read the
following
information.
- In short:

- No blatant spamming or abuse of our system to further your business
or charitable organization.
- Vendors can respond to technical questions posed by other members.
- Vendors cannot conduct marketing/selling operations embedded within
technical responses.
No blatant spam, open solicitations, or "stealth" marketing
techniques
Commercial, charitable, or monetary solicitations of ANY SORT are not
permitted in this community without prior written consent by the administrators.
The following are examples of things that are NOT permitted, and are
considered solicitous in nature:
- Direct solicitations for selling of products or services
- Direct solicitations for contributions to charity (unless approved
by the site administrators).
- Indirect solicitations or offers, disguised, or embedded within other
information. This includes the use of message posts to discuss or promote
(directly or indirectly) your products and/or services (unless you
are responding to a technical question posed by one of our members
- see below for further information on this).
- Use of company logos for avatar/tiny head images is not allowed.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE,
SHALL SCRIBBLE!/SCRIBBLE TALK BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL,
DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT OR
ARISE OUT
OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE SCRIBBLE!/SCRIBBLE TALK , EVEN IF SCRIBBLE!/SCRIBBLE
TALK HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT
SHALL
SCRIBBLE/SCRIBBLE TALK'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES,
AND CAUSES OF ACTION (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE)
EXCEED THE LESSER OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, FOR ACCESSING
THE SCRIBBLE/SCRIBBLE
TALK NET WEB SITE OR $ 25.00.
Scribble/Scribble Talk reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to
change, modify, add or remove any provisions herein at any time. Your
continued
use of the site following the posting of any changes to these provisions
will signify your agreement to the changes.
